Following on from the success of last years Jota, we will turned our Scout HQ in to a communications centre and joined thousands of fellow Scouts from around the world by making new connections through the internet. We stayed overnight at Scout HQ as the adventure continued into the night..

We connected with Scouts from Australia, South Africa, Japan, Netherlands, India, UK when we camped at the weekend as part of Jamboree on the Air.

We were even serenaded with Advance Australia Fair!  In return for some locally sourced Cadbury chocolate to be sent over the Darwin.

JOTI is an annual event in which Scouts and Guides all over the world connect with each other by means of the Internet. It’s the shear excitement of having a live conversation with a fellow Scout or Guide at some other place in the world that attracts so many young people to this event. JOTI is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared.
